With the start of the 2024/2025 season, we're proud to share the extraordinary performance of our athlete Vittoria Siletti, flag bearer for Team Picca Garin and a member of the Penitentiary Police Corps, at the prestigious European Under-23 circuit in Colmar! Vittoria started the first day's group stage very well, finishing twentieth in the provisional rankings. It's not always easy to immediately find perfect physical and mental shape to compete in events of this level, but she demonstrated great resilience.
On the second day, despite a difficult push to reach the top 16, she managed to rejoin the competition with great determination. Reaching the eight-a-side draw, she demonstrated her tenacity by defeating France's Sersot Jade with a thrilling 15-14. In the semifinals, Vittoria faced fellow Frenchwoman Louise Marie Alexandra, losing 15-13, and narrowly missed out on a spot in the final. With this result, Vittoria earned a well-deserved third place, once again confirming her talent and commitment. She started the season in the best possible way, making the Picca Garin team immensely proud.
Vittoria's journey is just beginning, and we can't wait to accompany her on her next challenges. Keep up the good work, Viky!
